Born in Nigeria. Attended Federal Government Girls’ College, Benin City( Pioneer Set 1973). Attended The University of Benin, Nigeria. Graduated from The School of Optometry in 1985. In the quest for more knowledge, she migrated to London, UK and then later New York, USA. Dr. Dema has practiced Optometry for over three decades in New York.

Olorogun Dema is a Community Leader and Cultural Ambassador. Elected in 2017 as the first female President of Urhobo Progress Union America ( a 501(c) 3 entity and the umbrella organization for Urhobos in North America).

Olorogun Onome Dema holds two Traditional titles- The Wanawana of Olomu Kingdom and The Ameronyo of Agbon Kingdom.

Dr Dema has received numerous awards from Governmental and Non-Governmental Organizations globally.

Married to Olorogun Okagbare Ralph Dema and the Union is blessed with three children.
