Godwin Okoli is a seasoned IT professional with over 15 years of expertise in Test Management, Quality Assurance, and Defect Management across a range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, public service, financial services, transport, retail, and utilities. His proficiency spans both functional and infrastructure testing, with a strong track record of successfully leading projects involving complex system integrations, verification, validation, and qualification. Godwin’s extensive knowledge of software testing methodologies, such as Waterfall, V-Model, and Agile/Scrum, has enabled him to effectively manage and deliver quality solutions in high-pressure environments.

Throughout his career, Godwin has played a crucial role in overseeing the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC). He has worked with prestigious organizations such as Thales UK, HCL Tech UK, Expleo Group, GlaxoSmithKline, and Leidos UK, delivering innovative testing solutions across diverse sectors. His expertise extends to managing large, geographically distributed teams, coordinating both onshore and offshore operations, and ensuring seamless test planning, execution, and reporting. Godwin has also been instrumental in ensuring compliance with stringent regulatory standards, particularly within the pharmaceutical and public service sectors.

Godwin holds multiple professional certifications, including the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) certification, an Agile Scrum Master certification, and advanced credentials in Test Management and Automation. These qualifications reflect his commitment to staying ahead of industry trends and best practices. His academic background includes a Master’s degree in International Law and Diplomacy and a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, which enhance his communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, complementing his technical expertise.

Passionate about driving continuous improvement, Godwin has implemented advanced automation frameworks and strategies to streamline testing processes and improve operational efficiency.

Beyond his professional achievements, Godwin has also made significant contributions to Nigerian diaspora organizations, where he has played a leadership role in fostering community engagement and supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening the socioeconomic and cultural ties between Nigerians in the United Kingdom and their homeland. Currently based in the United Kingdom, Godwin is married and continues to contribute to both his professional field and the Nigerian diaspora community.
