
Dr. LaBode Obanor
BOARD MEMBER
Dr. LaBode Obanor is a renowned lawyer, scholar, and visionary leader in law, finance, and public policy. He holds a BA in Political Science and Diplomacy from Seton Hall University, a Master of Accountancy in Taxation from Rutgers University, and an Executive Juris Doctorate from Purdue University Global. Currently, he is a scholar and fellow at Cornell University’s Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy.
As President of the League for Social Justice, Dr. Obanor provides free legal aid to the unjustly incarcerated, supports displaced communities, and advocates for women’s suffrage across sub-Saharan Africa. He is also the Founder and CEO of the Indigents Project, offering free tax clinics and assistance to low-income individuals and the elderly, while partnering with the IRS through the SPEC program to promote community empowerment.
He is a regular contributor at TANTV an online news publication with syndication on MSN and Ground News where he writes on a range of sociopolitical issues in America and across the globe.
