U.S Veteran Evaristus Chigozie Odinikaeze

Evaristus Chigozie Odinikaeze is a psychopolitical analyst and author of the LeadPsych Newsletter on Substack, where he examines leadership psychology and governance to promote stronger institutions and peaceful democracies.

He believes effective organizational change emerges when strategy and human psychology align, when systems reflect the motivations and lived realities of people. With 15+ years of cross-sector experience across finance, public policy, and the U.S. Coast Guard, he helps leaders navigate complexity with clarity and human-centered insight.

Evaristus has served as a Fund Accounting Supervisor at Brown Brothers Harriman, an AVP in Alternative Investments at State Street, and a Global Markets Surveillance Analyst overseeing billions in assets. A U.S. Coast Guard veteran, he advised leadership on DEI strategy and earned multiple meritorious team awards for operational innovation.

A PsyD candidate in Organizational and Leadership Psychology in Boston, he focuses on leadership behavior, the neuroscience of leadership, and multicultural competence. He holds master’s degrees in Public Policy (Northeastern University) and Accounting (Saint Mary’s College of California), with additional graduate study at Peking University.

Evaristus’ work integrates psychology, policy, and systems thinking to help leaders build resilient, high-functioning organizations.
